Branded running shoes under Rs 25,000

A good pair of running shoes can cost more than a month’s grocery bill in Pakistan, and that stops a lot of people from buying the right shoe. But many of the performance runners in our store sell at half their original price or less. These are the five we would pick if our own budget was Rs 25,000.

Before you choose, think about what you will mostly do in them. Gym and short jogs need a light, stable shoe. Long walks and runs on hard roads need more cushioning. Heavier runners and people with knee pain should lean towards the softest options on this list.

Nike Downshifter 12: the dependable all-rounder

The Downshifter is Nike’s everyday trainer, and it is the shoe we recommend most to beginners. The mesh upper breathes well in hot weather, the foam is soft without feeling unstable, and the rubber outsole lasts a long time on rough roads. It works equally well for the gym, short runs, cricket practice and daily wear.

Price at Gulfbrand: Rs 23,500, usually Rs 45,800. Best for beginners, gym-goers and anyone who wants one shoe for everything.

Puma Electrify NITRO 3: bounce for the money

NITRO is Puma’s nitrogen-infused foam, the same family of technology used in its more expensive racing shoes. It feels light and springy, giving back energy with every step, which makes running feel easier than in a typical budget trainer. The knit upper wraps the foot snugly and looks smart enough to wear casually.

Price at Gulfbrand: Rs 22,500, usually Rs 53,500. Best for runners who want a fast, fun shoe without paying racing-shoe prices.

Hoka Clifton 9: maximum comfort, minimum weight

Hoka is famous for thick, soft midsoles that are still surprisingly light, and the Clifton is its most loved model. Its rocker-shaped sole rolls you forward from heel to toe, which makes long walks and runs feel smoother and takes strain off the joints. Nurses, doctors and anyone on their feet for long shifts swear by it.

Price at Gulfbrand: Rs 21,500, usually Rs 35,000. Best for long distances, heavier runners and people with knee or heel pain.

Asics Gel-Kinsei Max: cushioned and stable

Asics has been making running shoes for decades, and its GEL cushioning absorbs impact at the heel, where most runners land. The Gel-Kinsei Max pairs that with a generous, comfortable midsole that feels secure on uneven pavements. This women’s model is a great choice for regular road running and fitness walking.

Price at Gulfbrand: Rs 24,000, usually Rs 36,452. Best for women who run regularly on hard roads and want a secure, cushioned feel.

Nike Invincible 3: the biggest discount in the range

The Invincible 3 is one of Nike’s most cushioned shoes ever, built on a very thick ZoomX foam, the same material Nike uses in its elite racing shoes. It feels soft, bouncy and protective, even after many kilometres. It was designed for recovery runs and long, easy miles.

Price at Gulfbrand: Rs 19,900, usually Rs 86,309, a saving of over Rs 66,000. Sizes on deals like this sell out quickly, so if yours is available, do not wait.

Quick comparison

For an everyday all-rounder, pick the Nike Downshifter 12. For a bouncy, faster feel, the Puma Electrify NITRO 3. For maximum softness, the Hoka Clifton 9 or Nike Invincible 3. For GEL cushioning from a running specialist, the Asics Gel-Kinsei Max.

Tips before you buy

Running shoes should have about a thumb’s width of space in front of your longest toe, because feet swell during exercise. If you are between sizes, go half a size up. Replace running shoes roughly every 600–800 km, or when the sole starts to feel flat. Every pair at Gulfbrand is an original, checked before dispatch, delivered free anywhere in Pakistan and covered by our 7-day return policy.
